The show
Founder Portraits is a popular long-form interview show. Each episode is one founder and one long conversation about how they built their company.
Christianne researches every guest before filming, so they skip the version they’ve told fifty times and get to the real decisions, the bad timing, and the parts that almost didn’t work.
Christianne is a masterful interviewer, in the tradition of Terry Gross, Studs Terkel and Dick Cavett. She listens closely, asks the question nobody else thought to ask, and lets the silence do the work. Guests leave saying it was the deepest conversation they’ve had about their own story.
There’s plenty of founder advice out there already. This show is about the person giving it: who they were before the company, what it cost them, and who they are now.
